Welcome to GANT (Gene and Annotation Navigation Tool). With this program, you can:

If this is your first time using GANT, this quick start guide should help you get up and running as soon as possible. If you have not already installed GANT, please refer to the installation instructions or contact Bio::Neos for assistance: http://bioneos.com/contact.php

The general progression of use for GANT is as follows:

  1. Load a Gene (also referred to as a Candidate)
  2. Navigate through the gene (viewing exons, introns, annotation, etc.)
  3. Design primer pairs
  4. Save your work

If this is your first time using GANT you may wish to start understanding the progression of use above by clicking each of the links and following the instructions. However, these steps are not always required and a user may wish to simply view the genomic structure and not design primer pairs or use some of the other features of GANT that don't fit in a specified order:
